01
Parent Mechanism · The Universal Stop
The Common Yeet
A swift, multi-situational stop event that disrupts the creative current — applicable to people, brands, movements, and institutions at any scale. The Common Yeet is the universal parent mechanism. All 14 numbered formations in this taxonomy are specific expressions of this single core stop. The firing. The layoff. The divorce. The drop. Runs on the exact same mechanism as every other Yeet — only the audience is smaller. Not a sentence. A circumstance. And in most cases, restartable. The stop becomes permanent only when compounding formations carry it all the way to The Final Yeet (The Coco).
“The Yeet is not a sentence. It is a circumstance. The wire is still live.”
External displacement — happens to you
02
The Transference Yeet
Misconduct travels through the same infrastructure that built the Inferno. Velocity scales directly with the size of the Inferno. The ‘did you hear what he did?’ text moves through identical infrastructure as the ‘you need to hear this album’ text. Proximity Transference: association becomes a secondary conduit.
“The infrastructure that builds the Bag is the same infrastructure that can burn it down overnight.”
06
The Brand Betrayal Yeet
Brand breaks its trust contract with the people who built its Inferno. Depth of Yeet proportional to depth of original embed. Converts advocates into adversaries. Most dangerous when brand had actively cultivated moral alignment as part of its identity — breaking that circuit doesn’t just lose customers.
“They didn’t just lose customers. They made adversaries out of advocates.”
Self-inflicted — you come for yourself
03
The Self Yeet
Tearing down what you are actively building. Spectrum: unintentional erosion → purposeful destruction → Fatal Self Yeet. The work may survive. The conductor may not. Where The Yeet is external — the world comes for you — The Self Yeet is internal: you come for yourself.
“Where The Yeet is external — the world comes for you — The Self Yeet is internal: you come for yourself.”
05
The Collective Denial Yeet
Group invests identity in a destructive leader through collective refusal to see clearly. The deeper the embed, the higher the cost of breaking the circuit — and the more aggressively the denial is maintained. The only Yeet capable of igniting every other type simultaneously.
“The deeper the collective investment, the higher the cost of seeing clearly — and the more catastrophic the inevitable ROI.”
12
The Bad Behavior Yeet
Legal adjudication of the Spark. Three outcomes: Redemption Arc (prison as forge — Haggard, Trejo, Downey), Terminal (conduct so severe no creative legacy can carry it forward), or Partial Recovery (ceiling permanently lowered). The federal government is an unreliable Yeet-er.
“The Bad Behavior Yeet tests whether the Spark was ever real. The ones that survive prison were real.”
Institutional — systems Yeeting systems
08
The Bot Yeet
Institutional displacement of human creativity by automation. Preemptive extinguishment of Sparks never given conditions to ignite. Trading the irreplaceable for the efficient. Creative Disruption functions here as a governance mechanism — a check on the reflexive Yeeting of human value in favor of scalable efficiency.
“You can automate the output. You cannot automate the disruption.”
09
The Migratory Yeet
Subject Yeets the location. The place gets left. The spark keeps moving. Operates identically from refugee crossing the Darién Gap to corporate HQ relocation. One of the oldest mechanisms in human history — every diaspora, every exodus, every brain drain. The Migratory Yeet flows toward Infernos already burning.
“The place gets left. The spark keeps moving.”
10
The M&A Yeet
Redundancy-driven elimination of people, brands, technologies, and creative properties simultaneously. The most structurally comprehensive mechanism in the taxonomy. Operates on four levels at once: human, technology, brand, and creative. Downstream: Dual Abandonment Yeet follows almost immediately as audiences reassess.
“Redundancy is the word they use when they’ve decided your spark doesn’t fit the new circuit.”
Concealment & drift — slow burns and hidden fires
04
The Deception / Transference Yeet
Spark burns so brightly it conceals the source within its own blaze — until revelation comes, often posthumously. The spark does not die. The source is Yeeted from hero status to the permanent, complicated historical category of ‘problematic.’ The movement transfers its center of gravity to other carriers.
“The brighter you burn, the more you hide.”
07
The Dual Abandonment Yeet
Cumulative, bidirectional withdrawal. No single triggering event. One party disengages; the other, sensing absence, quietly leaves. Two forms: The Ghost (quiet, final, no forwarding address) and The Reddit (organized, documented, vocal, permanent). Indifference is the tell. The metrics slowly hollow out.
“Indifference is closer to the Final Yeet than cancellation ever gets.”
Timing — the Yeet of arrival
13
The Pre-Seeded Cancellation Yeet
When preexisting misconduct — dormant, undiscovered, or insufficiently amplified — is excavated and weaponized at the precise moment a Spark is approaching Bag formation. The incoming Bag is not incidental to the timing. It is the trigger. The bigger the approaching Bag, the deeper the dig. The conductor is in the window between Spark and Bag — the most exposed position in the CDLC. In the internet era, this mechanism has become endemic. The faster the rise, the faster the dig. Surviving it requires either a remarkably clean past or the Knowing Ball to move faster than the excavation.
“The Bag didn’t cause the behavior. It caused the reckoning.”
The only good one — run it yourself, on purpose
11
The Pre-emptive Damage Yeet
The deliberate self-initiated Yeeting of a damaging element caught early enough that the ember can be extinguished before it ignites the Inferno. The only mechanism with a positive outcome built into its definition. Not the same as the Self Yeet: the Self Yeet tears down what you are building. The Pre-emptive Damage Yeet removes what would have torn it down for you. Emotional Governance at its highest level.
“The only Yeet you want to run is the one you run yourself — before someone else runs it for you.”
Knowing Ball failure & structural obstruction — the circuit that couldn’t close
14
The Ball Drop
A failure in the application of Knowing Ball — through error, external force, deliberate action, or the freeze of indecision — that disrupts Spark Flow. Distinct from the Bag Drop. Four formations: Accidental, Externally Forced (the conductor did not drop the Ball — the circuit was disrupted from outside), Intentional, and By Indecision. The Ball can always be picked up again.
“The Ball can always be picked up again. The wire is still live.”
15
The Barrier Yeet
The Yeet that never announces itself. A Spark cannot complete its intended circuit not because it was consciously refused, but because something in the architecture prevented convergence. Eight formations: Gatekeeping, Structural, Perceptual, Self-Barrier, Visibility, Temporal (four tiers), Status/Credentialing, and Economic. No villain. Just obstruction. Understanding the formation is the first step to building around it.
“The current was real. The door was never reached.”
∞
Terminal Stage · Complete Erasure
The Final Yeet (The Coco)
Complete cultural erasure. The second death. When the spark is gone, the flow has stopped, and the last person who carries it has moved on — and the universe lets it go. No ceremony. No eulogy. Just gone. Named for the concept of the second death in the film Coco — the moment you are forgotten by the last person who remembered you. Every act of creation, every Spark Jump, every piece of Emotional Governance exists to prevent this outcome. Every Node that carries a Spark forward is a stay of execution against The Coco.
“The Yeet is a test. The Final Yeet is the verdict.”
Beyond The Yeets — adjacent mechanisms: not displacement, but operating alongside it
Creative Compunction
Reactive Yeet counter-mechanism. Genuine compunction stalls the Yeet. Performed compunction accelerates it. Cannot reverse a D/T Yeet already in progress. The audience that built the Inferno has finely calibrated fraud detection.
Spark Delay
Non-Yeet interruption. Current remains live but forward progress suspended. The wire is still live. Not failure — gestation. Some of the most potent Sparks spent years — sometimes decades — in Delay before igniting. Stored Surge compounds during Delay.
Creative Implosion
Mental illness-driven breakdown in which the conductor loses meaningful control of their own current. Not a Self Yeet — the distinction is moral. Agency absent or severely compromised. Gateway to multiple Yeet types, up to and including The Final Yeet.
Finality
Inevitable exit of the original conductor — through mortality or graceful market withdrawal. Carries no judgment. No failure. The north star of the entire framework: reach Finality with no Yeets. The Yeet is not inevitable. Finality is.
